Changes and Updates Due to Covid-19

As we're all well aware of the rampant Covid-19 virus spreading around the globe, I want to keep you updated on some changes and what we're currently offering:
 

  • Our Digital Photography I: An Introduction for Beginners class will now be a live online class. Please see our schedule to register.

  • All of our indoor classes have been cancelled.

  • We have and will be adding outdoor classes (our art of intuitive photography and walkabout classes). We will be mindful of social distance.

  • Our Master Manual Mode at Night class Thursday evenings are still running as it's an outdoor class. We will be mindful of social distance.

  • Private lessons will now be available via video chat.

  • Our London Street Photography workshop has been cancelled and will be rescheduled to the fall.

  • Our Landscapes and Icebergs workshop in Newfoundland is still on (but will be reviewed on a daily basis).

  • Our annual student show exhibit is on! You can now submit your images. Info here.

  • Please consider purchasing a gift certificate for a future class if you're not comfortable with taking one now. We small business owners are having a very difficult time in this situation and every purchase helps.

  • We have temporarily suspended our monthly donations.


    This is a time for us to be very mindful of our physical and mental health. Photography is a wonderful way to be outside, see the beauty around us and get out of our heads. Start the project you've been thinking about, sign up for online classes. I'm currently taking an online creative writing class. I've restarted meditating and found the App 'Inscape' one of the best ones I've tried (and I've tried quite a few!).

    We also have been very fortunate with the weather here in NYC, and I've been walking a few miles a day in the sun to keep myself grounded and not in fear. Movement is very important to get ones anxiousness out. Limit media intake. Take hot baths. Do what you need to do to keep your immune system strong and stress levels low.
