Monthly Charity Donations - June's Funds will go to Family-to-Family
Every month AoIP donates 10% of our income from our website sales to a charity/fundraiser that is in immediate need, or is a choice from our AoIP community.
June's donation will go to Family-to-Family. Our student, Lew Wunderlich, had proposed this for consideration.
Family-To-Family (F-to-F) is a small, grass-roots hunger relief charity that Lew and his wife have been involved with for close to four years.
Based out of Hastings-on Hudson, New York, F-to-F has funded the delivery of almost 350,000 meals annually and close to six million meals over the organization’s lifetime. Its unique in that it matches specific impoverished families – often single moms with several kids – with donor families of greater means.
Lew and his wife are donors for a family in Waco, Texas, underwriting the monthly cost of a box of groceries. This provides “their” recipient family with at least a week’s worth of meals, often arriving just at the time when food stamps may run out.
Buy purchasing a class or gift certificate on our website in the month of June, you will be participating in making a difference at Family-to-Family.
May's donation is our participation and raising funds in the Aids Walk on May 20th. Please join our team!
