Monthly Charity Donations - July's Funds will go to Woodstock Farm Sanctuary
Every month AoIP donates 10% of our income from our website sales to a charity/fundraiser that is in immediate need, or is a choice from our AoIP community.
July's donation will go to Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. Our Associate Teacher, Sepia Prince, had proposed this for consideration.
Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a Hudson Valley - based animal shelter that regularly takes in, or works to place farm animals that are victims of cruelty and neglect. Most of these animals are rescued during investigations of farms, stockyards, auctions and slaughterhouses; others arrive from humane societies and SPCA cruelty cases.
Rescue animals are given care and sanctuary, connect with people to advance veganism, and advocate for animal rights in alliance with other social justice movements. Visitors to the sanctuary are provided an opportunity to meet animals who are most commonly exploited. Their mission embodies the vision of a peacful world rooted in respect and justice for all living beings.
After providing volunteer services with the farm on 3 occasions, Sepia has gained a new found respect for non-profit efforts, and a more broad view of Earth justice.
Buy purchasing a class or gift certificate on our website in the month of July, you will be participating in making a difference at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary.
