Photography Classes in NYC: Martha Stewart Features Art of Intuitive Photography
We’re excited to share that Art of Intuitive Photography founder Mindy Véissid was recently featured in Martha Stewart’s blog following a special photography workshop held at Martha’s farm.
Mindy had the opportunity to teach Martha’s granddaughter Jude and three of her friends during a week-long photography course in New York City. The experience included photography walks throughout NYC, along with a day photographing at Martha’s beautiful farm.
The students spent part of the day learning about composition, observation, light, and creative storytelling before exploring the property with their cameras. They photographed everything from weeping katsura trees and succulents to chickens, horses, and quiet details throughout the landscape.
At Art of Intuitive Photography, our photography classes in NYC focus not only on technical skills, but also on helping students slow down, observe more deeply, and develop confidence in their own creative voice. Our photography school welcomes beginners, experienced photographers, smartphone photographers, teenagers, and adults looking for a more personal and creative approach to photography education.
What stood out most during the workshop was watching these young photographers embrace curiosity, intuition, and genuine observation. Their final images beautifully reflected how meaningful photographs often come from slowing down and truly paying attention.
We’re grateful to Martha Stewart for providing such an inspiring setting and for sharing the students’ work and experience on her blog.
Art of Intuitive Photography offers photography classes, creative workshops, private lessons, online courses, and photo tours for all levels in New York City and beyond.
