Art of Intuitive Photography Named a Top NYC Photography School
We’re excited to share that Art of Intuitive Photography was named the #2 photography school in New York City by Time Out New York.
As many of you know, this school began from something very personal - a belief that photography is not just about learning camera settings, but about learning how to see more deeply, creatively, and intuitively.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of teaching thousands of students through beginner classes, walk-about (now Photo Explorations ) classes, private lessons, mentorship programs, online courses, teen classes, tours, and retreats. Some students arrive with years of experience, while others are picking up a camera for the very first time. What connects them is curiosity, openness, and a desire to grow creatively.
Time Out highlighted our small class sizes, supportive environment, and the school’s focus on intuition and creativity alongside technical skills.
What means the most to us, though, is the community that has formed around this work.
Watching students begin to trust their own eye, slow down, notice more, and create images that feel meaningful to them is the reason this school exists.
